Terms & Conditions - Marlin Academy Childcare


These Terms & Conditions (T&Cs) govern the use of the Marlin Academy Childcare website and the enrollment of any child in our programs. By using this website, completing a registration form, or enrolling a child, you (the Parent/Guardian) agree to be bound by these T&Cs.

  • These Terms & Conditions are designed to set out clear rules, responsibilities, and expectations for both the Parent/Guardian and the Academy.


2. Services Provided

  • Marlin Academy Childcare offers a range of childcare and after-school services for children within specified age groups.

  • We commit to delivering a high-quality, nurturing, and educational environment.

  • Program details, including operating hours, schedules, activities, facilities, and associated fees, are subject to change. The Academy will provide prior notice of any significant changes where possible.


3. Registration & Enrollment


To secure a place, Parents/Guardians must:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date personal information for themselves and the enrolling child.

  • Acknowledge that all information collected during the registration and enrollment process is used solely for the administration of childcare services and is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.


4. Payments & Fees

  • Payment Schedule: Fees must be paid according to the agreed schedule (e.g., monthly, weekly, or upfront), as detailed in your enrollment agreement.

  • Late/Missed Payments: The Academy reserves the right to charge late fees or, in cases of persistent non-payment, suspend or terminate a child's enrollment following a written warning.

  • Cancellations & Refunds: Specific rules regarding deposits, refunds, and notice periods required for withdrawal from the program are detailed in the separate Fee Policy, which forms part of these T&Cs. Generally, fees are payable until the end of the required notice period.


5. Health & Safety

  • The safety and well-being of all children are paramount.

  • Parental Responsibility: Parents/Guardians must immediately inform the Academy of any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, special educational needs, or dietary requirements relating to the child.

  • Academy's Commitment: We will take reasonable steps to provide a safe, secure, and clean environment and will administer first aid and necessary medical attention as required and as permitted by law, with parental consent where possible.


6. Attendance & Absences

  • Punctuality: Parents/Guardians are expected to adhere to the Academy's specified drop-off and collection times. Persistent lateness may incur a late collection fee.

  • Reporting Absences: If a child is unable to attend, the Parent/Guardian must notify the Academy as soon as possible via the designated communication channel.


7. Code of Conduct


To maintain a positive environment for all:

  • Respectful Behaviour: Children and Parents/Guardians are expected to treat all staff, other children, and property with respect and courtesy.

  • Zero Tolerance: Bullying, discrimination, aggressive, or severely disruptive behaviour by a child or Parent/Guardian will not be tolerated. The Academy reserves the right to suspend or terminate the enrollment of any child whose or whose parent's conduct is deemed detrimental to the welfare of others or the effective operation of the Academy.


8. Liability

  • Marlin Academy Childcare takes reasonable steps to ensure the safety and security of children while under our supervision.

  • Parents/Guardians understand that accidents can happen in a children's setting. The Academy's liability for loss, injury, or damage is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law. Parents are encouraged to maintain their own personal insurance cover where appropriate.


9. Website Use

  • Informational Use: The content on the Marlin Academy Childcare website is provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional advice.

  • Intellectual Property: All content, including text, images, and logos, is the property of Marlin Academy Childcare. Parents/Guardians may not copy, reuse, reproduce, or misrepresent any materials from the website without the Academy's explicit written permission.


10. Amendments to Terms

  • These Terms & Conditions may be updated or amended occasionally to reflect changes in law, policy, or service provision.
